Affiliate Disclosure
In plain English — how YourNextDress makes money, and how we keep it honest.
The short version
YourNextDress participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click a link on our site and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer — at no additional cost to you.
What this means in practice
Most outbound product links on YourNextDress are tracked. If you click through and end up buying something — that day or sometimes within a window of a few days, depending on the program — we get a small percentage of the sale.
You pay exactly the same price as anyone arriving directly at the retailer’s site. Our commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your wallet.
How this affects what we feature
It doesn’t — and that’s by design. We curate based on quality, fit, and whether we’d wear it ourselves. We feature brands and retailers across a range of commission rates, and many of our editorial picks are pieces we’ve included with no partnership at all.
We don’t accept payment for placement. A brand can’t buy their way onto YourNextDress.
Programs we participate in
We work with several affiliate networks and direct partnerships, which may include — but isn’t limited to — programs run by major retailers, designer e-commerce sites, and curated marketplaces. The specific programs change as we add and remove brand partnerships.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is provided in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”
